Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment

Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado

28ml – £34.00 (shop here)

Ever used guac as an eye cream? No…me either. However the next best thing perhaps?

As a nation we seem to be avocado MAD, we spent over £128mil on them in 2016. It’s no surprise us millennials wont ever be able to buy a house. Avocado is naturally super hydrating and full of amazing fatty acids that are great for both our insides and out. It’s no surprise we’ve gone cray for them, even if it is just for the gram.

Avocado and Avocado Oil has long been an ingredient used in skincare, it’s just now more heavily promoted because of the popularity.

When it comes to eyes creams there’s a lot of speculation whether they actually work. Personally I think the spectrum to that is so wide. It really depends on two things, what the product is suggesting it’ll do for you and what your actually looking for. It’s not often you’ll find one product that’ll fits all your needs, there has to be a level or reality to your expectations.

Looking at eye creams/gels I have two requirements, hydration in the PM and caffeine in the AM. Pretty simple and very common amongst men and women my age; anti-aging isn’t really one that’s necessary until early 30’s, although I have used some amazing anti-aging ones (again preference).

Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado is a buttery rich formation. Developed with Avocado Oil and Shea Butter. It’s highly nourishing and luxurious. The thick cream glides one beautifully under the eye for  instant hydration. Being such a rich formulation I’d recommend slotting this into you PM routine, it may be a little heavy for AM.

A 28ml pot will set you back £34.00 making this one of the more expensive eye creams out there, HOWEVER a little really goes a long way. And as with the majority of Kiehl’s products, only a tiny amount is needed so in essence it should last you way longer than a usual eye cream.

Key Ingredients:

  1. Avocado Oil: Naturally rich in fatty acids, know mostly for is super hydration and high levels of nourishing vitamins.
  2. Shea Butter: A very well know butter, super hydrating whilst helping create a protective barrier between the skin and the elements.
  3. Beta-Carotene: Naturally high in antioxidants.

Kiehl’s will be donating £10 from each special edition pot sold to the MTV staying alive campaign, find out more here.

Thank me later and AVO’good day! (I couldn’t resist).
