Hydro-Plumping Re-Texturizing Serum Concentrate (72ml £52.00)

I know what your thinking “Jack you look so young and youthful you don’t need anti-aging skincare!..”

Well yes I guess your right there.

But hold on…I don’t use this ‘Hydro-Plumping Re-texturising Serum’ (jeez that’s a mouth-full) for its anti-ageing properties…I mean, come on, my cheeks are big enough, it’s not like they need anymore plump to them!

In-fact I use the ‘Hydro Serum’ for its ability to lock in moisture and anchor it to your skin.

So, what is it?

The Hydro-Plumping Serum is a concentrate formulated to work alongside your daily skincare routine to help improve the texture of your skin, reducing fine lines and wrinkles whilst locking moisture deep within the skin. Basically waking up tired and dull complexions.

Who’s it for?

Yes it may be targeted mainly towards more mature skin because of its anti-aging properties. However it’s also perfect for those with dehydrated complexions/dry patches.

Personally I have oily combination skin (oily in the t-zone area, dry in others) and I haven’t had an problems with it causing excess oil, in fact I think because my skin is much more hydrated my skin has calmed down on creating that excess oil.

How to use?

Super simple, after cleansing and toning (and oil if you use one) pump the product directly into the palms of your hands; one full pump should be enough for face and neck. Then swipe all over; it absorbs almost immediately, then follow with your usual moisturiser.

I tend to only use this in my morning routine, but there’s no reason you couldn’t use it at night as well/instead.

Thoughts:

For me this is an essential in my everyday skincare routine, I’ve been using it for almost a year now and I don’t see any going back.

Would I say my skin is plumper?…hmm, I don’t really know. I think because I still have a lot of collagen in my skin (I’m only 22) there isn’t going to be much change in that respect. So it wouldn’t be fair for me to judge it on that.

However in terms of hydration my skins never been better. And of course we all know hydrated skin is the best thing on this planet earth…right? That’s what keeps you youthful and helps reduce oil and blemishes. So, yeah!

Cons:

If I was to have one bad thing to say about this serum; it would have to be its price, at £52.00 for just 72ml that is pretty pricy. That being said if you’re using just one pump a day it should last you a while, my first bottle lasted me almost a year.

Happy hydrating,

Jack.
