Little review for you here guys, so apparently dirty trainers aren’t all the range anymore; I mean have they ever been?
Jason Markk premium shoe cleaner is something I have wanted to try out for quite some time, but at a price of £16 I couldn’t really justify paying that many pennies for a shoe cleaning solution. Luckily I was gifted this set which I am so happy about and now after once usage I definitely understand the high ticket price. It amazingly out preformed my expectations, being easy to use, efficient and an added bonus of a pleasant scent.
I tested it out on my fave pair of TopMan trainers which are faux leather; the solution is 98.3% natural and they do say you can use this cleaning solution on all materials EVEN suede.
It’s so simple to use. You fill up a container of warm water, douce your brush in the solution and start scrubbing. So simple.
During this process I soon realised why it’s called a premium product, it is so efficient in the amount you need to use, I probably used about 5 decent sized drops to clean the pair. I completely believe their statement that you can get 100 washes out of a bottle; that’s only 16p a wash!
After a sufficient amount of elbow grease scrubbing and what has now equated to my yearly amount of exercise done, I just wiped them dry with a soft cloth and “Bob’s your uncle” spanking clean trainers.
Oh and as for the laces; I steeped them in ‘vanish oxi action’ for a few hours and they came out gleaming white once again.
The pictures don’t really justify the improvement since cleaning them but personally I can see a huge difference. A few of the more stubborn stains that are engrained into the material only managed to fade slightly but this isn’t surprise. I saw the most improvement on the heels of the trainers, the stains just seemed to glide off so easily with the solution.
Verdict: I love this product! It does what it says, its easy to use and it is in no way wasteful. I can now one hundred percent understand the £16 price tag and in no way do I think it is over priced. I would defiantly recommend this product for any avid shoe/trainer collector or even anyone who just likes to keep their sneaks clean.
Well there we go, now I just need to try Liquid Proof to keep my trainers stain resistant and I will be full equipped for all the elements. If anyone has tried it please let me know what you think.
